The Indian Institute of Architects (IIA)

Founded in the year 1917, Indian Institute Of Architects is a registered body under the societies ’Registration Act XXI of 1860′ and has more than 20,000 members and plays a major role in promoting the profession of architecture by organizing and uniting the Architects within India to promote aesthetic, scientific and practical advancement of the profession both in Practice and in Education.


Cochin Centre of IIA as one of the premier centres of this body has been involved in promoting and encouraging excellence in Architecture and practice through inclusive, virtuous and collaborative approach in all its endeavors.
